Why It Matters

In rural communities, children often rely on dangerous kerosene lamps or struggle to study with inadequate lighting. This leads to poor academic performance, health risks, and diminished opportunities.

SSGF’s solution is simple but powerful: distribute durable, solar-powered reading lamps to children in underserved areas, enabling safe and sustainable learning after dark.

Our Impact so far

Through the Light Up Africa initiative, we’ve reached thousands of students across Nigeria and Ghana, improving educational outcomes and community well-being.
